Highlight of the Empire Lamp ( series 2015) by Roberto Romero.

The new lamp series was presented for the first time in the Paralela Movel 2015 - Mube Brazilian museum of sculpture. It is made of painted steel. Craft work with manual welding.

ESTILO PILAR 2015 - INTERIOR DESIGN, ARTS AND LANDSCAPING EXHIBITION

Estilo Pilar is  a charity interior design exhibition, organize by Friends of Pilar , located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I was invited to participate to the apartament  designed by Grace Devecyan, interior designer.

Every year a prize to the best decoration is given by the asociation, and it´s decided by a very selected jury.

It´s a honor to annonce that this year the prize was awarded to Grace Devecyan, who invited me to participate to this challenge with "The Virola" esculpture, completed handmade.

The Living Magazine published pictures of the sculpute, and the interior decoration.

The Argentine artist Roberto Romero adopted the Paraíba as home in 2012 but has exhibited - and lived - in Colombia, France, Lebanon, Uruguay and Argentina itself. Only fitted with wires and pliers, he skillfully carves lamps, cross, animals, people and the more its sensitivity ask.

POETRY AND REFLECTIONS WRITTEN WITH WIRE

The magnetism exerted by each work of art lies essentially in lines free of excesses. As a revised text, the 41 year old artist who is also bachelor in literature cut redundancies and trim unnecessary connections to communicate in a synthetic way the morphology of the object.
